Rainbow Court assisted living accommodation in Peterborough

We currently have an opportunity for a tenant to occupy a first floor, self contained flat within Rainbow Court.
The accommodation includes a spacious living/bedroom, modern kitchen and wet room as well as access to the wide ranging communal areas.

Rental charges are just £203.73 per week (exclusive of utilities). This is an assured (shorthold) tenancy with an understanding that the tenancy is long-term unless the individual decides to move.

Rainbow Court is expertly designed to provide people with combined sight and hearing loss, who may have additional complex needs, with a safe and secure environment to live independently within the wider community. Nestled in the heart of Peterborough and close to local amenities, Rainbow Court comprises 16 ground and first floor flats along with communal indoor space fully equipped with a training kitchen and IT equipment, gardens, allotments and greenhouses for all tenants to enjoy.

A team of friendly support workers are on hand to provide flexible support during the day and night if tenants require it. Regulated by the CQC, Rainbow Court is owned and managed by About Me Care and Support from Deafblind UK.

About Me Care and Support

Part of Deafblind UK, About Me Care and Support has been providing opportunities for people with dual sensory loss for the past 50 years. We support people living at Rainbow Court to maintain their independence. Our highly trained and skilled on site team offers a wide range of support packages such as assisting tenants with reading and understanding their post, paying bills and other household tasks. We enable tenants to access the community and engage in meaningful leisure pursuits.

We ensure that communication is never a barrier to living an independent life; our Support Workers and Managers are trained in a variety of communication methods such as British Sign Language (BSL), Deafblind Manual and Clear Speech.
